NEWS:Billionaire Tim Draper says Bitcoin will hit $250,000 in 2024.
My body is ready
I'm sure that one day Tim Draper will be right, but as things stand so far he has not justified the status of a
"prophet", considering that in 2014 he uttered the famous saying
"1 BTC will be worth at least $10,000 in the next three years"....and it did...exactly 3 years later, in 2017, lol
As far as I can see in the video, it surprised even him - maybe because something like that happens very rarely. However, if we take into account that it was about 10 years ago, it took courage to say something like that, and I always remember the expression on the face of the host in the TV studio when he said it - she probably thought he was a bit crazy.
his other prediction of 250K in 2022 did not pan out, of course, and he admits to that.
In my opinion, anyone who predicts BOTH the timing and the price are not going to be successful, typically.
I hope I'm wrong, but somehow it seems to me that $250k is a bit too optimistic for 2024, because that would be an increase of six times compared to the current price, and I wonder if it is realistic to expect such an increase considering the last big bull run achieved only a little more than x3 compared to the then ATH ($20k -> $69k)
Check out the vid (@fillippone was most likely talking about T. Draper info from this one):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfOeVUbbx9YI watched it with interest because the contrast between bitcoin "guy" Draper and a s-tcoin "promoter" R. Pal (who invest most of his money in ONE coin

) could not be more clear. Draper also explains very well how VC funding works. The gal is easy on the eye too (for this older fella), haha.
Thanks for the link, it's always interesting to see what Tim Draper has to say - but although I don't know how much his private investments in Bitcoin and some altcoins are, the 30 000 BTC he bought at the auction have not been in his possession for a long time, because as far as I've had the opportunity to read, all that BTC was invested in some business ventures that I'm not sure were super successful.
I agree with you when it comes to the pretty presenter, and I must admit that apart from being pleasing to the eye, she has a very specific way of communicating, quite quietly and unobtrusively. She reminded me of
someone from my country
