This season the competition is much different from before, Laverkusen improved performance and their consistency in leading the Bundesliga standings have so far made them the favorite team. But that doesn't necessarily negate Bayern Munchen status as rulers, and we know that its dominance is not easily broken for many reasons, one of which is the depth of the squad which is better than any other team. The competition for the top four in the standings involving several teams at once is very interesting, but I think the existence of Dortmund, Stuttgart and Leipzig only disrupts the hunt for trophies and the consistency of Laverkusen and Bayern Munchen.

Xabi Alonso does not have as good squad depth as Tuchel, but his strategy in bringing out the best potential in players is worth admitting. In terms of the rotation options that Xabi has, it is a bit worrying that if they are hit by an injury storm, it could make Laverkusen lose his balance. On the other hand, it is very possible for Laverkusen to record an unbeaten record throughout the season if avoided from the storm of injury, as well as win its first Bundeliga trophy this season.
Bayern Leverkusen going into half of the season and sitting ontop of the league though not comfortably yet because there’s still Bayern Munich who are on their trail. Now Bayern Leverkusen are pretty good byt Bayern Munich are known as traditional winners of this league and they’ve a wide range of experience on this league. Now for this top race, between Leverkusen and Munich any slip off them would be a victory margin for the other.

In terms of squad depth, I think I’ll give it to Leverkusen and not Bayern because Bayern currently aren’t doing all great and they’re not even hitting much goals but Leverkusen are all great and can keep hitting this winning streak for a while. Yes for other top 4 spots we’ve got teams like Dortmund and Stuggart but I know they won’t be coming close to Bayern Munich and Leverkusen..

I don’t think we can say clearly who can win the Bundesliga right now, okay!. I mean Leverkusen is looking super consistent with their performance. But you know the biggest hurdle for them is that Bayern Munich is who is on the chase and they are only 1 point behind. To get ahead Leverkusen needs to fumble only in 1 match so that Bayern Munich can get ahead. It is still a 50-50.  The question is can Leverkusen keep their consistency? If they can, there is no one stopping them.
I think what will keep the rivalry alive are the matches between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. The scores in these matches will directly affect the championship. In addition, the performance of teams such as Frankfurt and Dortmund, which can prevent them, will also be decisive. I would like Bayer Leverkusen to win. The championship needs a change now.
