Always wanted to try Linux, but I am a gamer and as you probably all know not many games support that system, maybe in the future with steambox situation will change and more games will be supporting linux. Good to hear that Ubuntu is good OS tho. Gotta remember that 
There is a Steam on Linux fyi. Several games are available and more to come - so you can give it a try.
