Why people are confused that there are no KYC when they register at casino? Why would casino ask for KYC from the start, if you havent done anything yet? This seems illogical to me. People are confused when they asked to pass KYC during withdrawal, but not before every withdrawal they ask for that. If you are in a little profit, imo casinos wont bother asking. But if you turn dollar into a million, then ask for KYC to get some extra time for checking. This looks normal for me.
They ask for KYC because they operate under license and regulations force them to ask for KYC documents because if anything happens, like money laundering, it will become their problem. It's also true to say that many casinos ask for KYC documents when user wins lots of money. They can legally do that, so, some of them play bad games when you win a lot but what can be done to prevent that? Over time more of them will officially be demanded to ask KYC documents to every registered customers. But on another hand, new casinos with Costa Rica license manage to offer their service without KYC. It seems interesting to see how long will this continue and whether well-established crypto casinos change their license or not.
Now itt is difficult to say how long a jurisdiction such as Costa Rica will last by providing licenses for crypto casinos that do not have mandatory KYC.  Of course, we have no information to what extent the officials and government of this country are independent of the US regulatory authorities.  And in general from financial and political pressure from the US government.  Of course, the possibility of anonymous payments in crypto casinos should be preserved for many reasons, which have already been repeatedly listed in this topic.
But even if the Costa Rican authorities break under pressure from the USA and begin to demand mandatory KYC, the players’ needs for anonymity will still not go away; they remain.     And this will automatically require the organization of one or more jurisdictions in the world that would not require mandatory KYC in the license.
