Arsenal didn’t look like themselves tonight. Arteta would be furious at his players the way they played, they missed couple of clear chances. The gunners failed to end the year at home on a good note. With the way they played, it could have been worse on the scoreboard. West ham kept their lines clean. All credits to David Moyes and his players on how they approached the game, they soaked up all the pressure Arsenal put on them. With this formation, they have beaten some of the best teams in the premier league
One lesson that the Arsenal team has to learn from today's match, is that, they should never underrate Westhampton united.
Although I admire their consistent effort right from the UCL were they made England proud with their attempt and current EPL stand, today's match started strong for the Arsenal team. J.Gabriel needs a better support upfront for rebounds and assist.
Also, one thing I noticed about the Arsenal side is that they lack any confidence when it comes to aeriel ball, and that's one why they lack consistent performance in their EPL matches. That's one key point they need to work on.
Today's encounter between Arsenal and West Ham did not live up to my expectations. Arsenal blew many chances that may have led to a win against West Ham, and the most unexpected thing is that Arsenal was doing well when the game began.
Even though the first half ended 1-0, I predicted that the second half would be better for them, and they still managed to score another goal for Arsenal. As things currently stand, Arsenal will remain in second place, while Liverpool will remain in first top standing.
