I think that's what causes people to not like this KYC because it is too abrupt in asking users to complete KYC at the end of the game instead of at the beginning of the game, of course that is definitely not liked by many gamblers because maybe they don't want their identity to be known just because of a small bet.  Grin

But this is not the fault of the gambling platforms, they are being considerate first by not asking for KYC for a start which is their own way of attacking gamblers and requesting for KYC the moment they started and wanted to make some certain functions which is their own second way of retaining the gamblers to their platforms, now it's upto us to be able to present to them the evide of what they demanded or not.
Fake or real, the world's AML act requires casinos and other companies dealing with deposits and withdrawals to know their customers, that is the world standard. So, don't be surprised if your casino asks you for the same in the beginning or thereafter, it is still within their rights to do that. Only that most of these casinos aren't answerable to anyone, they pretend and do as they like, especially those who do not have the .com, .org, .net and some specific countries' domains.

They will only be faking it as if it is because of one regulation. Fine, some might be regulated truly, but still a light one as they operate offshore at the same time which makes it easy for them to do and undo. Irrespective of that, everyone dealing with money with third-party companies should know that they will do their KYC for real, and whether they ask you in the beginning or later, you are bound to do it. This is why you should even do it before making your first deposit, but what I don't like is when people have passed the KYC successfully but due to winnings and good plays the casinos will be asking for additional documents. At that time, they are only doing that for selfish reasons, the style is no more new.
