It doesn't feel like waiting for his first debut at Barcelona in another 6 to 7 months and it will start in the 23/24 season. Vitor Roque is expected to be the solution to the decreasing attack intensity that Barcelona is currently facing and that will be good news for Balugrana fans because they have a young talent who is ready to fill the main place in the striker position.
It is good for Barcelona to aim at future and invest in young players than focus on short term and spend money for old players. They are doing a more sustainable player transfer strategy which potentially can help them to improve their squad with young players who can contribute for them in long future.
I did not know about Roque but if Barcelona chose him, hope that he is talented enough and can fit well into their squad with core tactics tiki taka. Last 5 years, Barcelona failed in many costly transfers.
Maybe there are a lot of expectations from players and as he has shown while in Brazil he is indeed a very promising player. Learning from senior and experienced players like Lewandowski will further mature him and before Lewandowksi leaves he should at least partner with Lewandowski in Barcelona's attack line. It will be a very valuable experience for him and Lewandowski will definitely be happy to share his knowledge.
Lewandowski is one of greatest strikers recent years and he now can play a role like Ibrahimovic did in AC Milan some seasons ago. Playing, keeping the light up in the squad, helping the team to have goals, winnings and also training young players with skills and experience he has learned through his long and successful career.
