Based on my personal point of view, Lewandowski will still be heavily relied on by Barcelona or Xavi. why, yeah because after all Barcelona still needs his services as a center forward in their squad. at least, before they get an ideal replacement in the front line. in other words, Lewa will remain the main option, especially if he doesn't experience any problems, especially those related to injury. Lewandowski's presence is very crucial, especially this season. not only how he has to score goals as his job as a pure striker, but precisely because his stability will be very helpful for Barcelona's young players, like Gavi or Pedri who are often given instructions by Lewandowski when setting strategies, even though he is no longer young, in fact he has entered the age of 35. however, if Xavi is able to maximize his patterns, systems and strategies, Barcelona should now be a competitive team. unfortunately, because they experienced a storm of injuries, Barcelona was unable to appear consistently in every match. plus, Barcelona's defense line has really experienced a decline in performance unlike last season. however, we agree that the age factor cannot be avoided by any great player and Lewandowski is no exception. however, at least Lewan is still very useful for Barcelona. now the problem is with Xavi, how he has to find an effective formula for his squad when playing match after match. as for rumors of Lewandowski's departure, I actually haven't heard any news. it could be, because currently I don't really follow developments regarding rumors or gossip. but as far as I know, Lewandowski once made a statement that he wanted to end his career at Barcelona. whether Lewa will leave for another club or league, we'll see what the results will be.
Lewandowski is a great striker. He's still got the fuel in him to net in more goals. He's agile, skilful and his goal scoring abilities are at the peak. Although age is calling gradually but he's still got a bit of time in him to show his worth in the public and projected games too. Although like Ronaldo, even at the age he is, he still kept the zeal on. I don't think Lewandowski's case would be any different.

Let him still use the ample of his time left to do exploits. He's got European cups and tournaments to journey through and in him, there's all that it'd take. Age is still favourable to him and he doesn't look like he'd slack in a few years to come, so for the mean time, he's got to enjoy his playing time before thinking of retiring back to the Arab league or quit football generally. But I don't think he'll retire completely he'll still want to continue, he'll probably move to the Arab League or join Messi at MLS.
