Well according to the advanced learners dictionary, it describes an educated person as someone who has a very high standard of learning, while the Oxford dictionary states  that an educated person is someone that have been to a school, be it primary, secondary or tertiary, we all know that education plays an important role in the forum, cause one ought to know how to read and right properly to be able to participate in the activities going on here.

 However in my understanding asides from knowing how to read and write, which describes someone educated, i think an educated person can also be described as someone that can set defenses around themselves against the world, most of us here come from or lives in areas that's insecured. Therefore based on their intelligence they should be able to strategize how to protect themselves and keep themselves from getting into danger, an illiterate might be physically strong  but might lack the basic understanding of how to survive, but it takes someone educated to study their surroundings and figure out how to safeguard themselves from being harmed. The insecurity in our country is getting out of hand, and in this new year we all need to be very strategic on how to survive. Everyone needs to be on guard, cause that's part of what makes us educated.
