Salah got two penalties. the first penalty failed in the 22nd minute, and his second penalty was successful in the 86th minute. overall Salah played quite well scoring 2 goals in his 4-2 victory against newcastle united. and widened the gap at the top of the standings with 2nd place.
Anfield was echoed with high pitch of victory chants from Liverpool fans with the slogan, we will never walk alone. They beat Newcastle United 4-2 with enough actions for our eyes to watch. The match was a bit tense in the first half because both sides struggled to score and the two sides scores, the goals was ruled out for offsides by VAR thereby denying both of them the privilege to continue winning in different chapters. The full concentration of the game was Mohammed Salah with his tremendous performance despite missing crucial penalty in the first half that would have given them the lead but anyhow, he settled his path.
A convincing victory was shown by Liverpool in this match.
To be honest, this does look the same as many people predicted because after all Liverpool is a favorite with everything that happens starting from the performance and strength of the team they built.
I actually expected more results from Newcastle but indeed Liverpool's dominance was very difficult for them to anticipate.
With this result, Liverpool at least breathe longer because they can secure the top position for a while. Even though this is still not completely safe but at least at this time they are still comfortable with a difference of 3 points from Aston Villa and 5 points from Manchester City even though Manchester City still has 1 game left.
Now the last match before a few days break will still be interesting as there are names West Ham and Brighton who will meet each other today. I think it will be interesting again because these two clubs still have above average attacking style and quality.
