~~ Snip ~~
Newcastle suffered a setback due to the increasing injury crisis in the team, they have lost most of their starting players to injury and they still keep having players injured. Just before the match against Liverpool they lost trippier to injury again, a key player for them and it is the reason they have been lagging behind recently. They always put up agoid fight against stronger opponents but I guess Liverpool are more good offensively that’s why they couldn’t hold them but they put up a good fight anyway despite having so many injured players.
I would not be surprised by Newcastle defeat after previously knowing that many of the main players were injured and had experienced a decline in performance since then, which had consistently declined greatly. even though previously in the early stages of the season, Newcastle was able to appear impressive and had quite strong consistency, but things slowly changed to become very weak and Liverpool victory was guaranteed previous predictions because Liverpool is in quite good condition at the moment.

Eddie Howe has previously always been praised for being able to provide good consistency at the start of the season and this time the Newcastle coach must be under pressure to deal with this problem.
Newcastle defeat was justified, Liverpool were at the peak of their best performance, playing at home, while Newcastle were facing the opposite situation, the injury factor had a big impact on their performance. Many of the goals scored were unexpected, perhaps more if Salah had not failed to execute the penalty, the additional 3 points further confirmed the Reds' position at the top of the standings while also managing to create a gap with their closest competitor Aston Villa.

However, I think Liverpool point difference is not completely safe, because the competition in the future will be even tighter. Man City has shown signs of consistency, and Aston Villa must also be closely watched. I am impressed with the consistency of Unai Emery squad, of course I am curious about them, and to what extent Emery can make his squad stay in the top four of the standings.
