Having alternative activities that will keep you busy will allow you to lessen the chance of thinking about any gambling related activities, if you can help the person to be attracted and be engage with another physical activities like sports or any types of exercises which will give them some refreshment, though addiction also have different levels if you can help to avoid getting to deep and still can cope up with doing some kind of entertainment you can push the person to change up and to completely move away from this bad habit.

Increasing offline activities maybe become effective in preventing us from gambling online. However, this must also be ensured that when he is alone, with no friends to talk, he can use his time to sleeping. As soon as he wakes up, he has to stay away from gadgets again. If he want to open his gadget, use it for other things that don't trigger the desire to gamble. The ease of internet connection and online ads can change everything in a few seconds. In fact, opening social media can make people who initially didn't want to gamble, become thinking to gamble again. The reason is easy, the cache on the device or browser will usually personalize the ads, if you gamble frequently, then gambling ads will appear on our social media pages.

That's good if the person is really aiming to prevent any involvement or any thing that relates into gambling he should have this control inside him, it's not an easy task which not everyone can easily practice but with the kind of determination it's not impossible to work it out inside you, just focus and think of it as an everyday challenge to you.
