That's right, in my opinion, someone who is addicted to gambling will find it difficult to recover from their addiction, because someone who is addicted tends not to want to see anything other than their addiction because they will only focus on gambling, which has become something they usually do. but in my opinion it depends on the level of addiction, if their addiction is serious it is possible that they will not be able to stop gambling and as you said they can go back to gambling and it might even get worse in the future.

and if their addiction is not too serious, chances are they can recover in a short time, but it also depends on themselves whether they really want to stop gambling or not, if they are still hesitant about stopping gambling, chances are they will return to gambling again. a certain time because they cannot control their desire to gamble, and even if they still gamble, I don't think they will gamble within the set budget, but to minimize the risk of serious gambling addiction, perhaps this can be done by reducing their gambling activities and by limiting each budget when they want to gamble, but even so it doesn't guarantee that they won't become addicted to gambling.
That's because they don't see other things that can provide fun and entertainment and only focus on gambling so they forget to do other things. Indeed, there are levels to gambling addiction and if gambling addiction is very serious, who knows what will happen to them because there are probably many possibilities that could happen to them. Maybe their life has become worse than we imagined because their focus in life has really changed drastically and they can no longer see any opportunity to heal themselves.

They can recover from their gambling addiction, but it requires a strong desire and effort to do so. But most gambling addicts find it difficult to cure their gambling addiction without help from other people so it will be difficult for them to get out of their gambling addiction. There must be a trigger for them so that they can start to realize their gambling addiction and leave behind things that have a bad impact on their life and there also needs to be support from their family to help them cure their gambling addiction. Having self-awareness is something they must have in their efforts to heal themselves and tell their problems to the people around them so they can help them get out of their gambling addiction.

All changes must always begin with strong intentions and sincerity from themselves and that means it's useless if many people help even some professionals who are considered to be able to overcome it but still in the end it will be very difficult to do, actually all addicted gamblers can recover by themselves if they have admitted their mistakes and have the intention to change, although the process is not easy and not fast but it doesn't matter because there will always be a process for success.

The awareness and desire that comes out of oneself for a change and also in combination with the help of the closest people I think it will enlarge or even facilitate the recovery process, as we know that the disease of addiction lies in the human brain and if they are already aware of it then obviously they only have to follow some directions suggested by the people closest to them, But before that it is also necessary to consider whether the advice is really good and leads to a change or not, yes I understand it is quite difficult to maintain the struggle for change consistently because the temptation of gambling will always cross his mind, but I think the people closest to him should be able to limit his activities, such as limiting the use of gadgets to avoid.
Yes, one must be sincere and realize that one must change by having strong intentions and also asking for help from the people around them so one can help those who are addicted to gambling. They must be able to open themselves to the presence of people around them who are always ready to help them get out of their gambling addiction. With support from the people closest to them, as well as their desire and effort, they can give good results, and they can see that they still have a chance to cure themselves of their gambling addiction. They can recover from their gambling addiction and although it takes time, it is still worth it. And yes, everything is a process they must go through together with the people around them.

Self-awareness and desire will make them see that they have done the wrong thing in their life and it is time for them to change it by living what they must do. They will not stop trying, especially if they have seen changes in their lives while they are healing. When they can see it, they will become even more enthusiastic to continue doing it, and they can still survive even though they may find it hard to go through it. However, the support from the people closest to them made them strong in going through every process because they realized that they had to go through everything to recover from their gambling addiction.
