It seems João Félix had a poor performance and his performance was weak enough to make Xavi mad at this player. Before João Félix joined Barcelona he said how loved this team and he wanted to play for Barcelona but this player mostly couldn't have good performances since he started playing for Barcelona,
In the game between Barcelona and Almería, the performance of João Félix was weak enough to make Xavi not use this player in the best squad in the game against Las Palmas.

I don't think Felix is completely bad for Barcelona, if you look at his loan period to Chelsea last season, his performance was very different. It may not be easy for Felix to immediately adapt from Atletico-Chelsea-Barcelona, he needs time to understand the club culture and the coach strategy, his initial appearance with Barcelona does look promising. Previously, the President of Barcelona had stated that Felix was a priority to be retained, meaning his status could be made permanent when his loan period was over.

There is still time in the second half of the season for Felix to prove his quality, that he deserves to be given a permanent contract, and can gain Xavi full trust. The very expensive price must of course be balanced with the contribution he makes to the team, if that fails to materialize then Barcelona will send him back to Atletico when the season ends. Felix must be motivated to get permanent contract status, because returning to Atletico is not a good idea for his career.
I agree with you. I saw that Felix wasn't too bad in the Barcelona match, he just needed time to obey Xavi's wishes in that match. Apart from that, in my opinion, if Joao Felix is benched because of his poor performance, then Lewandowski also needs to be benched. In my opinion, Xavi's character is almost the same as ETH in choosing players and often blaming the players if this continues. I'm sure Barcelona and the players will suffer as long as Xavi is coach, the players will be blamed for everything.

But whatever it is, I'm still curious about what Xavi saw in Felix that caused him to want to remove him from the starting lineup. I don't remember him losing the ball much. In fact, most of Barcelona's mistakes came from poor decisions at the back and strikers.
