We are leading the league table. Villa and Arsenal are no threat. City is concern but 5 points behind. Hope we don't lose motivation.
The EPL table keep changing and we know the elite clubs that would become competitive. Motivation, consistency and hardwork is what Liverpool need to fuel the stage. You're mocking other elite clubs yeah? Who has the best laugh? The EPL campaign have not ended, so these clubs mentioned have potentials of climbing to the first spot. Liverpool is lucky enough to have Jurgen Klopp who have boosts the onfidence of the club at Anfield. You're a Liverpool fan, you're happy, it's normal but don't get carried away because there are clubs that might not be doing good presently but they will certainly bounce back to good form.
Liverpool had faced lot of upsets last season and now this season they are coming back strong. Glad to see a rival coming back up from hard time. However yeah City can make their gap to 2 points considering they are one game behind Liverpool at current. Also season is still long and Liverpool also has to make sure that they maintain their consistency otherwise others will overtake them on the table. Arsenal missed their best chance and Villa are also trying hard so it is what gave Liverpool the room to lead the table. This season is bit unpredictable and I am loving the way things are getting warmed up by the middle of the season.. can't wait to see how it builds up next.
Liverpool have not performed well in the Champions League this season, making it a bit easier for Liverpool to perform consistently well in the Premier League. Although they are playing in the Europa League, the Europa League teams are relatively weak.
Liverpool played very poorly last season. But their performance has been very stable since the beginning of this season. They have been able to maintain consistency. At the same time, Liverpool players are not getting too many major injuries. This is why their performance is stable. While Arsenal and Manchester City have dropped points in several matches, Liverpool have managed to hold on to the top spot in the points table.
Yes, I agree that Liverpool's failure in the Champions League might make them more focused and energetic to perform well in the Premier League. This can result in more preparation and attention to domestic matches, so that consistency can be maintained. and competition in the Europa League is not as fierce as in the UCL, and Kloop's intelligence in rotating players allows them to keep key players fit for the more important Premier League games.
and failure in the previous season might be a trigger for extra motivation for Liverpool players to prove themselves. This can create a high competitive spirit in the team,
If Liverpool can maintain the team's performance then I am sure they will win the Premier League title again this year
