I think in terms of consistency Liverpool are better than Arsenal and has a better chance of maintaining the top spot and would be Manchester city main adversary to them defending their premier league title.
Liverpool had a bad start to the season so they weren't considered at first, but as time went on their performance got better and more consistent. Slowly they have the confidence to be in first place now. Arsenal had a good start to the season but as they entered the middle of the season they lost concentration, and Man City slowly started to improve and began to recover.
The EPL league is even more exciting because there is a surprise team, namely Aston, who has performed very well so far, but I'm not sure they will be big competitors among the other three teams. Aston Villa being able to stay in the top four until the end of the season is an extraordinary achievement for them. I predict tight competition to win the EPL title this season between Liverpool and Man City. Arsenal will always be a complement, because they do not have the mentality and field leaders with character.
