Chelsea still have a chance to win a title this season despite having a really bad form meanwhile. I mean the EFL Cup title by the way. Because they have reached the semi finals and they will probably won't have big issues against Middlesbrough as well. However the main threat there will be Liverpool as they would also eliminate Fulham to reach the final stage. 
I would expect Liverpool to be as determined as Chelsea to win this title honestly. Because Klopp is also trying to make a big progress after an inadequate level of performance in the last season. But let's see. Chelsea had better give their best for the title.
This season has been the worst season for Chelsea because of there inability to win most of there matches because if you check there premier League matches you will see how Chelsea has lost to so many smaller clubs they had the chance to win especially there matches against Newcastle United, with the two times they have meet new Newcastle United they have not been able to win Newcastle United instead there first meeting Newcastle United gave them 4-1 and still come back to hold Chelsea with 1-1 draw. The problem with Chelsea this season is inconsistency because in times of performance they have the performance to win Middlesbrough but I doubt if they could be consistent enough to win the match, may be perhaps since the match will be a determining factor weather they can qualify to the Final or not, so i believe they will put in there possible best to win the match but although wining the match doesn't even guarantee there champion because is actually crystal clear that Liverpool are more in a good shape than Chelsea because they will have to meet Liverpool on the final.
