There is an interesting thing now that Ancelotti talked about in an interview by saying that he is still not planning to bring in a center-back for Madrid even though Militao and Alaba are confirmed to be out for a long time now.
When asked about a new center-back signing, Ancelotti said: "At this time, we are not considering signing another center-back. We are missing two very important center-backs, but we have two others whom we trust a lot, Rüdiger and Nacho, and Tchouameni and Carvajal can do well in an emergency.
Indirectly he'll be pushing Nacho now as an option for the loss of Alaba and of course in the worst case scenario he'll definitely push Tchouameni and Carvajal in a more urgent situation.
Honestly, I don't like this idea because with the current schedule I think Ancelotti is gambling at great risk if he continues to force their situation now and this is what I don't really like about Ancelotti's leadership in Madrid because this is not the first time he has done this considering that previously when Benzema was injured he also did the same thing and ended up failing Madrid in almost all competitions.
I've just read this news and it could indeed disrupt the situation for Madrid and I agree because Ancelotti always does risky things like this when talking about his coaching because he thinks it can still be done.
My expectations are actually still the same as before despite statements like this from Ancelotti but hopefully he will change his mind and find at least one new defender for Madrid so that the situation can be minimized but if indeed he still entrusts the current players by hoping that Nacho, Tchouameni and Carvajal can improve so as not to bring new players then there is nothing wrong with entrusting this to Ancelotti because we know for sure he is more familiar with the current situation in Madrid.
Today's match Tchouameni was invited back to be a defensive center and the result was 3 points they won even though it was a narrow victory but at least 3 points they managed to achieve.
Yeah, it could be risky, especially given the situation they found themselves in last season when they were forced not to bring a striker when Benzema was in and out of the treatment room due to injury, which proved fatal for Madrid, but hopefully, that won't be the case this time around.
Ancelotti always has his way of looking at things but i don't think there is anything wrong with looking for alternative players who really fit the criteria at centerback which is currently still a lot of gaps because of the lack of players who fit there even though Nacho and Tchouameni performance is still relatively good today but i don't think it's wrong if they try to anticipate things more.
Madrid's tight schedule has made them have to be smart in arranging rotations and inevitably some players are also forced to work harder which makes their fitness vulnerable and now we can even see some players who don't even play in their ideal positions
That is what Ancelotti should do and he does it well. Sometimes a coach doesn't have much choice when most of the players in his line can't play at that time. so that the tactics prepared by the coach are what will really have an effect. Indeed, sometimes it is not good enough to see several players playing in other than their main positions because that is the best choice that Ancelotti can prepare at the moment. This is certainly not easy, but of course it requires careful consideration to become an effective tactic during the competition.
The transfer season is now open and this is one way for Ancelotti to improve his current squad but this is likely to wait until the end of the season as Ancelotti has said that they will not be bringing in any defensive players in the winter transfer window but there could be another situation that surprises them by bringing in some players especially as there are already some rumors about some players being linked to Madrid although these are still rumors.
Instead of Madrid being preoccupied with the Mbappe issue which is not clear when this drama will end, it would be better for them to focus on defense now because their midfield and attack are good now and it is not funny if Madrid has problems again for their defense
That's why I also said that they need new defenders, which they must at least get in the transfer market later... Even though at the moment there are not enough rumors. and of course Real Madrid will understand exactly what they need most right now...
Anyway, Currently Girona is playing against Atletico Madrid. for a while Girona was ahead 3-2. Since the start of just 2 minutes, Girona has scored the first goal. This is certainly quite surprising for Atletico. Judging from the conditions, Girona should be superior and win. But we'll see what happens because there are several things that make both of them want to win to add points.
Currently there has been a statement from Ancelotti a few days ago saying that he will not bring a single defender in this transfer because he still believes in the players they have and the problem of defense, especially for the central defender, will be entrusted to Tchouameni, Nacho and Carvajal to fill the void left by Alaba and Militao but this still has a big risk even though until now it is still going according to plan.
Speaking of Girona they threatened again today with a dramatic 7-goal win against Altetico today and I think that could be an interesting situation for them this season as they haven't shown any signs of slowing down.
