I feel like it's basically obvious that Arsenal is gone, they are not going to win the title. Don't get me wrong, they are still quite close to the top, and it could still happen, but I really do not think that they will overturn anything. They have lost two very crucial games that they needed to make six points, if they did, they would be 46 points, leader of the league, and also just one point ahead of Liverpool but four points ahead of third Aston Villa, so that would put some distance.
Also, not a lot of people talk about this, but Aston Villa, a team nobody saw coming all year long, is second with just three points difference from the leader. If Liverpool loses one game and Aston Villa wins, they are tied for leadership. I honestly did not see that coming.
The chances are not gone for Arsenal. They are pretty much behind from the top placed teams and there are three teams ahead of them on the table so it is a bit hard for them but it is still doable if they start to take things seriously and keep getting maximum points out of the remaining matches.
About Aston Villa, they have been spectacular. At first it was Spurs who had a very good first half but Villa were also performing quite consistently but the main spotlight was on Spurs as they were doing quite well than Villa. But as soon as Spurs saw the dip and Villa maintained their consistency, Villa has got all the spotlight now. Emery has done a great job with the squad and they have some very good players right now. They have some good wingers and midfield and defence is also quite strong. No wonder they are doing well till now in Premier League. Question is can they maintain it till the end?
