Spurs' victory the previous week against Bournemouth was an important point for them because they are now only 1 point behind their city team, namely Arsenal. With Arsenal's current situation, Spurs definitely want to force the Gunners to go down immediately and if Arsenal still suffers another defeat in the next match then Spurs can make good use of this. Arsenal is a top team that is inconsistent because in the last 5 matches they only won 1 time and most of the defeats they suffered were against teams they should have beaten.
If in the next match Spurs can steal points at Old Trafford, Manchester United's headquarters, then it is clear that they will put more pressure on Arsenal and that could raise the confidence of coach Ange's men to return to the top flight. Meanwhile, Arsenal will play Crystal Palace and to be honest, this is a match that will again make Arsenal difficult and I don't guarantee they can win easily.
After Tottenham's win against Bournemouth, I will say that Tottenham is fully back to their winning ways. Tottenham ended Bournemouth's 7-match unbeaten run in the league, and Tottenham has won 3 of their home matches. If Tottenham can continue in this form, they will enter the 4th position in the premier league table because Arsenal and Aston Villa might drop points in their next 2 games.
Arsenal is currently on the verge of a serial loss if they don't get to fix their form and improve their performance, they have lost two already and if they continue just they way they have been, it's very possible they will suffer another series of loss and may just end up at the top four or even five without been able to win the league trophy.
Tottenham Hotspur is definitely getting back to form and I've always been really optimistic about it because looking at the team they had the set back due to injury and not due to crisis in the team which ment that if the injured players are back to the team, they will definitely get back on their feet and will chase the trophy tho it doesn't look like they will win the trophy but it's very possible they will qualify for the UCL by the end of the season, in tonight's game I'm expecting they will win although it's not a premier league game but winning will give them a chance at the FA cup.
