Sorry @n0nce for the misunderstanding, I already have these 2 Hubs and the Gekkos running. I was just trying to see which single board computer will give me the optimum setup. I already have them all except the RPi 5.
Nothing to be sorry about. 
It just sounded to me like you were still about to buy the whole setup. For the performance, as I said, I'd use any Pi you already own or can get your hands on for cheap and do check the power consumption. The 4 and 5 can pull a lot more power than the older models, but they might be able to idle down to a comparable level.
