Sevilla is literally playing with fire and I think this time they could burn themselves big time if they don't improve everything from their defense to their offense.
Granada and Celta Vigo both won their games and closed the gap and now it is only 1 point away from the relegation zone. But over the coming weeks they will face relatively good opponents and it wouldn't surprise me if we soon see them sitting on a relegation position.
The fans are also turning against them, which means everything is set up quite well for the catastrophe to enfold.
I don't think Sevilla would be actually relegated. But it will be a very fierce fight. They just can’t seem to be winning any matches these days. They had to let many key players go in the previous season and their current situation is not looking very good. Their downfall started in the last season and now it is even worse.
I think if Sevilla just wins a match right now, we can call them safe from Relegation for now. They need to win every 3-4 matches to stay safe from the relegation zone. I don't think Almeria or Granada will be getting over them. Their fight will be with Cadiz and Celta Vigo. It just does not feel good to see a team with this history go down due to these financial situations.
Yes that is why I said they are playing with fire. If someone asked me whether I do believe that they will be relegated and I had to make a choice between yes or no, I would say they won't get relegated. But as I said the upcoming games are all not easy and if they lose another three or four games or so out of the next five matches, it could be quite dark for them temporarily.
I don't think Granada or Almeria could endanger Sevilla, but Cadiz had a downtrend and if they can change that or Celta Vigo is also not to be underestimated, Sevilla could get into a dangerous situation that they definitely don't want to be in. In the next six weeks they are playing againts Girona, Atletico and Real Madrid. I don't think they can count on any points from those games.
