10 years? We don't know if the same thing will be with Shiba Inu as Dogecoin. Dogecoin has been around for the long time but it's still good as it is now as the community's meme coin. But with Shiba, do you think that it is a good decision that you can lean on? If that 10 years is my plan to keep it, I'd rather get Bitcoin that has been trusted for more than a decade than it. Just saying, it's best to have this type of reaction rather than directing someone that has uncertain result.
If the OP wants to hold them for 10 years then why don't he buy bitcoin and eth to hold them for 10 years? After 10 years of period bitcoin and ETH can also give notable ROI so why risk your money on a meme project that emerges in the last bull season? No one knows if it will be able to survive the next two bull season or not. In most cases altcoins don't survive their 2nd or 3rd bull season if they are not fundamentally strong and the dev team is still developing services using that blockchain.
