It's very true that if he is present he will be of great help to the Manchester city team especially in the champions league but then in their domestic league they may be able to cope, it will be even worse if halands absence continues because some how Manchester citys strength is built around these players but this doesn't mean they don't perform in their absence but their performance is usually different and characterized with lesser goal as with when these guys are present playing.
Manchester City without Kevin De Bruyne still performed well in the Champions League group phase and Manchester City was even able to get perfect points without losing in 6 matches, but in the domestic league Manchester City seemed to experience a decline in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne because Pep Guardiola only relied on Erling. Haaland while Erling Haaland needs the presence of Kevin De Bruyne to help him create opportunities but because Kevin de Bruyne is not there Erling Haaland is forced to rely on other players to provide passes even though they are not as good as Kevin De Bruyne.
In the round of 16 and in the second half of this season in the Premier League, Manchester City really needs the contribution of both of them to achieve success because Manchester City cannot fight alone without the presence of these two important players. Hopefully Kevin De Bruyne will really return to the club as will Haaland. so that Manchester City can once again strengthen itself in competing in the Champions League and the Premier League.
