will never happen and it is absolutely impossible for me that Nice can overtake PSG, whereas in terms of player performance two teams are very different and PSG is far superior to Nice.
on the one hand, believe it or not, I will be more confident that at the end this season, Nice will no longer be the runner up but Monaco will be the runner up in league 1 because in terms of experience, Nice is actually just like lucky team to be able to get runner up in the meantime, but the fact Nice still looks very inconsistent and will slowly fall to position below Monaco.
Its true that Nice seems very strong, but let's take a closer look at every performance of this team, even when playing against teams below them like
Le Havre and Nantes were unable to beat these two teams whereas team that is said to be quite strong and consistent will not be able to be beaten by a team below it and will usually only hold a draw because it maintains its consistent quality and from what I have said this is about the fact that Nice is not strong team and this is just a lucky team that is able to take advantage of the opportunity when top team has schedule to compete in another competition.
PSG are traditional winners of the French League and yes Nice this season have improved so well but I don’t think they’ll be able to overtake PSG. Yes the competition will be beneficial Nice but I don’t think they’ll be able to keep up for long. Monaco will be a better competitor than Nice, so I think that’ll be Nice’s major competition and not PSG who’ll sure get the league. Nice haven’t been so consistent and that’s one reason I don’t see them ending in the top 2 of the league.
Winners of a league will not find it difficult to get victory over smaller teams but we’ve seen Nice already struggle against smaller teams and that’s not the characteristics of champions. However I love their improvement in the Ligue 1, they've turned from a mediocre team in the Ligue 1 to one of the top challengers for the title race, Nice might not win the Ligue this season but participating in the UCL next season seems very likely.
