In my own opinion, I think it was an important win and also a big win for Liverpool because it's actually not easy to beat a strong English Premier League club like Arsenal. It was a very difficult game for both sides as the two clubs searched for a win in the game but it was Liverpool who first found the net after Arsenal player scored an own goal.
I think it was game that Liverpool were destined to win if you ask me because had Arsenal converted their own chances, the result of the game might have been different from what we saw today. Liverpool have successfully eliminated Arsenal from the English FA Cup and have progressed to the next round of the competitive.
Point of correction, A former strong team, no longer ass strong and tactical as they started this season. To score even goal was a difficult issue for them, they dominated the match, but their dominance only rewarded them with an exit from the league. It seems they emulated Liverpool's inability to score the last time they visited Anfield . Arteta's boys need to with seriously on their goal scoring accuracy if they intend to stay competitive in the premier league top 4.

During the first and second half Arsenal dominated but can't score any goal and that's very poor, with tonight performance it shows Arsenal can't move forward this season, reason why I said Arsenal can't move forward, the team has zero effort to push forward for now, Arteta can still restructure the team but it shows he can't and the signing of a new striker should not be taken for granted, the team really need a striker this January, looking at the attempt and shots after the match and still no goal still baffles me, Arteta should restructure the team.
