Because they're taught in traditional way, they only know tangible assets e.g. fiat, land, real estate, gold, or anything that you can see has a physical appearance. What about stock? it's promoted by the country and government, especially it already exist since long time.
While Bitcoin? it's fairy new, intangible asset, and the most of country doesn't promote it, some even say it's illegal and haram.
