Kevin De Bruyne returned strongly by the FA Cup game Manchester City played recently. A very short time after he was subbed in by Guardiola he made a nice assist. 
This is De Bruyne. He is always ready to make difference for Manchester City unless he is injured. He is a smart player and makes a lot of contribution to his team thanks to that. Guardiola will hope for him not to get injured until the rest of the season as of now. Because they need him not only in the Premier League but also in the Champions League to go big for the championship. Together with Haaland they are like a machine.

That is what I like the most about him and I think he is even the kind of honest player who would tell his coach to not risk to let him play because he feels as if he can't go 100% for the team. If he feels that his support in the team is less than 100%, he would probably refrain from playing.
He is an upright player who doesn't value bling bling, any weird answers in interviews or just lies when he is asked questions. He is one of my favorite players exactly for that reason.
When a player like him leaves the stage it is bad for soccer, but I hope that he will be around for a few years. Hopefully he can play the European championship with Belgium.
