Bitcoin is a decentralized currency It is very difficult to say whether such coins like Bitcoin will be discovery in the future. But in my opinion such coins will not be another discovery.
Theres a thousand altcoins already in the market i guess you are just focused on bitcoin and those altcoins have their perks in their different platforms, and purposes of course, bitcoin is the only decentralized reason why this called as mother of all coins and getting paired with altcoins, if you join into the crypto space there's a lot of projects those projects have their coins still those can be considered as part of the altcoins. Even among all those coins people keep saying that the bitcoin still is the safe haven of the crypto.
