This could be a good start for Manchester City because after all, with the conditions that are happening now, their chances are still very large, especially with opponents who are currently still below them and with the status of defending champions + favorites, this will indirectly make Manchester City have more motivation to carry out the match well.
But the Champions League still has at least 1 month left to prepare for it so for now I think Manchester City will still focus on the EPL first before going to the Champions League because after all it is also more urgent especially with their current situation where in last December Mancbester City's domestic competition had a little problem so before further looking at the Champions League I think they will look for gaps first to make a better performance in the EPL in the remaining time this time.

@topbitcoin Manchester City need to be careful with Bruyne because if they make him play too many matches too soon then they risk him getting injured hence his game time should be limited because they need him fit till the entire season and even beyond it.

Also since we’re in the middle of the transfer window lot of teams can suddenly favour themselves to win the champions league if they’re able to upgrade their squad and thus I believe that even City will dip in and buy a player or two to help the team push their goal of winning the champions league.
The problem of the transfer window this winter, I think this is only to make reinforcement because after all this is still quite important to do but not too urgent for big clubs so it will not really overhaul the existing formation, it's just making this a reinforcing layer for several players. As for Manchester City until now I haven't heard them looking for players so far don't know if they really don't intend to look for players or are looking for players in a silent situation we just still need to wait until this transfer window is over.

De Bruyne's problem is that until now he has been overworked in midfield and the injury that occurred a few months ago was also due to an old injury that he got and it is certain that Pep will be more careful about it but on the other hand it is a risk when a coach gives more confidence to a player then he must be prepared for this situation as well as what happened with De Bruyne.
