Bitcoin is unique and decentralized; all future coins that will be generated or have already been developed are looking up to Bitcoin; as a result, I do not believe there will be another coin like Bitcoin.
We did not have another coin among thousand of altcoins can have decentralization like Bitcoin.
I think only XMR come close to bitcoin because it is decentralized as well.
They have the intention of outshining bitcoin, but they don't have what it takes. This is because in mass adoption takes time and it will take years for any shitcoin to get the same mass adoption as Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the pioneer of cryptocurrency and if you introduced cryptocurrency to a newbie, he would want to know which is more acceptable by everyone, which is safer to invest and which will give him massive return of investment.
