No title race for dortmund like last season. Dortmund can only try so hard to finish at the top 4. The competitions are just getting even stricter with some clubs were going up like stuttgart and leverkusen. Leipzig was still doing so well too. It's quite hard to imagine that if dortmund will be winning bundesliga and it's impossible as the gap is too big for dortmund. I have my doubts about whether Dortmund will make it into the top four this season. The overall performance of dortmund was so awful.
Dortmund already messed up most of their chances that would have made them be in a better position now to finish at the top four of the Bundesliga table. Their league was also getting very intense and Dortmund didn’t pay more attention to the league and their concentration was more on the champions league competition. As it stand now, they’ve qualified to the round of 16 of the champions league but making it to the final looks impossible because of the teams left in the competition.
As they struggle to make a qualification to the next round of UCL, little did they know that they’re already giving up their chances in the Bundesliga which if they don’t meet up, they’ll not get a qualification to the champions league next season. Let’s see how far they can make it in the league before the league ends. The league is very intense and a lot of new teams with big zeal are currently occupying the top spots and will look very hard to displace them from there now.
