Theoretically, taking into account the fact that if not for the injury, Boniface would have taken part in the African Cup and would still have been absent from Bayer's upcoming games, Xabi should already have some kind of plan. But now the situation has become more complicated since restoration within the specified time frame is not guaranteed.
I'm shocked that Boniface scored 10 goals and are the club's top scorer, but the club's second top scorer is defender Grimaldo (7 goals)  Grin
Maybe he should finally change his position?

This is why I say Leverkusen will find it difficult to become Bundesliga champions. Because they don't have as good squad depth as Munich. With a point difference of only 4 points, I think Leverkusen should be able to appear consistent. And to be consistent, a team must have good squad depth so they can rotate players. I think this is a problem faced by clubs who are not favorites to win at the start of the season like Girona in La Liga. This is bad news for Leverkusen and their next match is against Augsburg. I want to see how they perform without Victor Boniface.

You are partly right and the lack of squad depth is a common problem for teams that are not top clubs, but look at Bayern - they had a disastrous season due to the fact that Lewandowski left and they did not find a replacement for him in time. What I mean is that injuries and absence of players are a random factor that affects both top clubs and underdogs, theoretically, the distance should average out this influence. And don’t forget that Bayern’s priority will be the Champions League, where they will spend all their energy, but Bayer can easily sacrifice the Europa League and this will not sadden anyone.
