Atletico Madrid, being a strong team, always provides good competition, which making the game intense and unpredictable against their opponent. These days Madrid Derby has become more interesting than the El Clasico, full of surprises and tension. It was an insane and thrilling game, and in the end, Real Madrid turned out as the better side. They played with a winning mentality and without tension throughout the match.
Atletico Madrid always plays hard when playing against Real Madrid because this is a Madrid derby match that is full of prestige.
However, I don't think the Madrid Derby is better than El Clasicco because of course the tension will be different, maybe because Barcelona is in a bit of a slump this season so you say that, but overall I don't think so.
