There are many gamblers around the world and they have different perspective and different way of handling their emotions some of them are when playing and after a big win they will stop or pause for a while cause they have the perspective that once they win a big amount they must stop inorder to prevent more losses. While other gambler can not control their emotions and when they are playing and win they don't mind anything and still betting and betting without knowing that after a big win they will loss and loss until all theirs money got loss.
If you're giving out only two examples of gamblers then that means that your claim that there are many gamblers that have a different perspective isn't true then? In terms of perspective, yes that can be true as each individual was raised differently and came from different environments but I don't think that you're wrong about those two examples and I think they're the only kind of gambler or that you can group gamblers in that two category, maybe if we dissect the nuances of each side, maybe that's when you're right that there's different kinds of gambler.
Responsible gambling in my opinion is relative to how much money you've got and how much you value the money that you've got, if you're the kind of person that doesn't mind losing a lot of money but you've got a lot of money then I don't think that you can ever be responsible and it's true with the opposite, that you're totally responsible with your gambling habits if you value the money that you put into it.
Yeah right, how much money you got and how you taking care of that money, being responsible means that you are using an amount that you really save for your gambling and not to exceed on it, winning is just aplus but more on enjoying and pleasing that lust to play the game, it's not aiming for huge profits as most of the time it really lead you to lose more and push you to become addicted to the game.
Making sure that you can handle that pressure and you are in control to whatever emotions you feel not to allow yourself losing more money.
Exactly, besides being responsible means that you can consider something to make a wise decision, if indeed you managed to get a win in one of the sessions you did it means that you can save some or half of the money to gamble next time and the rest for you to enjoy by partying with friends or enjoying yourself, I think it's not a win if you can't enjoy it, On the other hand getting a win from gambling is not easy, there will be a lot you sacrifice such as capital money, time and even mentally, so therefore when you do manage to get a win then obviously there is nothing better than cashing in and enjoying it, you should really appreciate your own efforts even though it is basically gambling and your victory depends on luck.
So I think the better scenario to approach is like this, first don't put any expectations on winning, and secondly stay firm on boundaries and good self-control along with always putting small amounts and limiting involvement, you must understand that gambling always depends on how lucky you are at that time, so it's useless if you do a lot of experiments if in fact you are unlucky then it will only make you suffer a number of losses. All that you can really do when you gamble with a good level of awareness.
