They are actually a club with good competitive ability and in the last 10 seasons I have noted that they have never been out of the top 10 in the standings and are even better than that. they have even been runners up in the standings several times. However, this season is indeed a tough season for them, they are struggling to stay away from the relegation zone. In my opinion, this is a form of failure in maintaining their stability when entering the new season so that they have to be in a completely unfavorable situation.
I see complex problems within them this season, so it really affects their performance in the competition. But I think they will be able to get through this to at least avoid the threat of relegation which is right in front of them.
I also believe Lyon will be able to avoid the relegation zone. Although they are having a difficult season but it is not as bad as they have to play in the 2nd division next season. They have won their last 3 games in a row and a few more wins will see them secure a place in Ligue 1 and out of danger of the relegation zone. You guys can take my word for it. I predict Lyon will be outside the top 10 this season and that is their worst result in the last few seasons. Hopefully next year they can fix the complex problems they are facing.
