I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?
It depends on the kind of loneliness you are talking about because I don't think there is a connection between loneliness and gambling, although loneliness can result to other things but I don't think it could result to gambling on less you have interest on gambling, however one of the stuff that result or makes someone to start gambling is being jobless and at that moment you are vulnerable to anything that can easily Fitch money for you and perhaps gambling will be the only solution so that's one of the things that makes someone to join gambling easily.

Loneliness can also push a person to gamble, hoping to get some fun and associate with people However, he must be aware of gambling before venturing into it. Maybe he's been engaging in gambling discussion with friends, then when his life became lonely, he'll have to practice those things he has on his memory. Same applies to other utilities people may begin to indulge into once they're lonely, some could be video games, or walking. And a lonely person doesn't mean he's unemployed. Employed lonely people are gambling addicts, too. Being jobless contributes as you said, but basically, it's mainly about what the person has in mind. A jobless person who is not lonely may not remember to participate in activities like gambling, because he'd be discouraged by the people around him. Loneliness is a situation where the person has nobody to share his thoughts and decisions to help them know about the view of others regarding the issues. He takes actions based on his decisions alone, hence once they've thought about gambling, nobody would be there to coach or moderate them.
