Sevilla is heading for a very bad season they way they a playing. The lack coordination and their defense has been extremely poor, I think that this la liga season has been below average for all team you would have thought they would do better except for Girona.
I think the season would end without Sevilla being in any competitive position and I don't see them making its into any European clubs competition.
In fact Sevilla have failed and slumped from last season but yes, last season Sevilla were still lucky to win the Europa League title so Sevilla got a Champions League ticket. But this season, Sevilla was really devastated because they were not successful in Europe and also, Sevilla failed to finish in the top zone in the La Liga table. Although indeed, there is still a second half of the season but obviously, considering the results that Sevilla has had so far this season, then Sevilla is just trying not to be relegated and that is Sevilla's main priority at this moment.
Last season they were still helped when they focused on the Europa League and won the trophy there which could cover their poor performance in La Liga and could still compete in a big competition like the Champions League but for now it seems that it can no longer be helped for Sevilla because after all they have now failed to be able to compete in the Champions League and in La Liga it has not shown significant changes so far.
20 matches and only 3 wins they get of course this is not a good result and should be proud of so they need to improve this from now on especially of course now the focus of Sevilla is La Liga.
In terms of performance on the pitch and possession they have never failed but this is where the problem lies because sometimes in matches they only focus on attack until they forget that their defence is very fragile.
