~~ Snip ~~

In fact Sevilla have failed and slumped from last season but yes, last season Sevilla were still lucky to win the Europa League title so Sevilla got a Champions League ticket. But this season, Sevilla was really devastated because they were not successful in Europe and also, Sevilla failed to finish in the top zone in the La Liga table. Although indeed, there is still a second half of the season but obviously, considering the results that Sevilla has had so far this season, then Sevilla is just trying not to be relegated and that is Sevilla's main priority at this moment.
Talking about Sevilla, this team still hasn't learned much from previous experiences and as one of the big teams in La Liga, they tell us all that they are just a weak team that will continue to fall without any real progress every season. I really appreciate their consistency in European league competitions and winning them repeatedly, but actually this is not good when every season they always fight at the bottom so as not to be relegated.

This season Sevilla have failed in two European competitions and the only reason they are staying now is so they can appear in La Liga again next season but if they don't take it seriously then other teams will take advantage of their weaknesses and throw them into La Liga 2 at the same time.

Anyway, the distance between the teams below Sevilla is not that far and this would be a bad result if Sevilla really failed this season.
That's right, the most realistic effort for Sevilla this season is to fight not to be degradation, so they can return to appearing in La Liga next season. I understand that Sevilla is experiencing a financial crisis, the same as Barcelona, but I never expected such a drastic decline in performance. Now Sevilla is only one point away from Cadiz who are in the degradation zone, if they don't change things immediately they will sink more quickly.

In fact, this january transfer window could be an instant solution to add strength to the main squad, but finances are preventing this effort from happening. I think one of the best options for Sevilla is to promote young players, as Barcelona did in anticipating their needs.

There is still hope for Sevilla to rise and avoid the degradation zone, and indeed making this happen is not an easy job. As a club that has a good history in La Liga and the European League, Sevilla should be able to overcome their challenges in the future.
