One of the necessary solutions for improving food security in Nigeria is the creation and developments of infrastructure, compliance with storage requirements of products and development of transport logistic network. The government should encourage the creation of large farms which will contribute to the development of local markets and reduction in the rate of urbanization. The important is the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries, so that we can obtain the necessary technology, knowledge, and means of production.                                                                    Achieving the goals of food security in Nigeria will help maintain employment and create new jobs, increase incomes, improve health and ultimately raise the level and quality of life of the population.                                        Thus, the task of the government is to develop long-term goals of good security on the basis of objective economic processes and take appropriate measures of social and economic regulation.

Government at all levels such as federal, state and local government should acquired land where mechanization can be practice with cross breeding, improve seedlings. They should sensitize local farmers by helping them reduce cost of farming tools, such are seedlings, herbicide, pesticide. Government should create special market where local product can be sold directly to the government for proper storage. Also those who study agricultural science and other branches associated with agricultural should be employed into the field for more productive.
