Its about altering our connection with gambling as well as deflecting attention from it. Gambling may be fun when interwoven into ordinary activities. Its about making gambling a treat rather than a habit.
Isn't that difficult to do and it seems like very few gamblers can do it, especially for the gamblers out there who just gamble without any knowledge or insight regarding discussions like those in this forum.
Just see that the majority of gamblers out there cannot do what you have said and indeed they have other goals for gambling, they have an approach and mindset that is not just treat or fun.
Combining gambling with ordinary activities will have good impact in the future because they will never be able to really prioritize gambling alone because there will be sense of responsibility and also willingness to continue other activities that are much more useful such as work.
But this is not easy because many gamblers work just to be able to earn money and continue betting which they enjoy, and this is reality and habit that always happens.
