Newcastle United have dropped in the stunning stats and this is not the right time for a competitive club like Newcastle been struggling, ofcourse they would want to put themselves in the race for the imperative positions. Manchester City are not mates with Newcastle United and they proof in at St James' Park yesterday. We watch the the top notch performance exhibited by Manchester City, not taking any chances when the king finally returns, scoring a goal that levelled the game and also giving a crucial assists that landed another horrendous goal for City to put them infront.
Newcastle's problems are actually very clear. They have experienced a decline since many Newcastle players were injured. In fact, up to now there are around 9 players who are injured and several other players who are absent and Tonali who has also been banned from playing. So it is very natural to see Newcastle experiencing a very clear decline in performance throughout the current season. At the start of the season we also saw that they were very strong and even beat PSG in the Champions League group stage. But unfortunately after that a storm of injuries came their way. And so began a decline in performance which made Newcastle even worse in the standings this season.
So Newcastle's problems will actually end after the injured players begin to recover and return to playing. So I wasn't surprised that Newcastle played badly. But in the match against Man City I saw that Newcastle was actually starting to improve.
