I think Chelsea was really lucky to win the game because it wasn't expected that they will be able to win the game based on how they have been performing. I was expecting the game to end in draws but Fulham didn't play well like the way I expected. If Fulham team had performed well I don't think it will be easy for Chelsea to win the game . Chelsea still have hope to meet up top four position if they can start performing better in their games.
Winning 1-0 does not mean that Chelsea is considered to be on a positive trend. There is a possibility that Fulham performed poorly that night. And talking about Chelsea's chances of breaking into the top 4 I think it is a miracle and mission impossible to do with their performance this season. Chelsea is able to win matches against several teams above it but I think the top 4 teams are currently very strong for Chelsea to beat. I think the most realistic possibility is to qualify for the European League group stages but that also seems very difficult.
However, I saw the way Chelsea controlled the game from start to finish, making me think Chelsea experienced a change in the game, which Poch needed to improve on the front lines because he was less effective in getting opportunities. Chelsea will appear again as a strong team like the Abramovich era for at least another 1-2 years if you look at current developments. The game is less consistent because Chelsea is full of young players whose skills, mentality and experience are not yet optimal. Chelsea can be ranked in the top 6 standings until the end of the season, this is a good achievement for Chelsea.
