Real Madrid has always been linked with Mbappe and Osimhen but in reality Real Madrid has not given any indication that Real Madrid management will make an offer for these two players in this transfer window. I don't think Ancelotti will take a big gamble to recruit Osimhen because Osimhen performance has declined relatively this season, which could be a big blunder if Real Madrid recruit him. Even without a suitable replacement for the position left by Benzema, it seems that gap can be covered well by Ancelotti this season.

It is true that Real Madrid are looking for a goal machine for their center forward this season but I don't think they will be in a rush to target a quality striker this season. If we look at Real Madrid, they are almost transitioning their squad from old players to young players, so there is a reference that Real Madrid management will look for young talented strikers to prioritize in the long term.
The absence of concrete indications about Real Madrid's interest in Mbappe and Osimhen doesnt mean they dont observe those players. It's clear that Real Madrid need to strengthen their front line that makes them need to evaluate every option available. I think the approach towards recruiting Osimhen, citing a potential decline in performance this season, is just a practical consideration. It's essential for clubs to carefully assess the current form and consistency of players before making significant investments.

Ancelotti's management style and ability to manage the squad without rushing into a major signing, especially in the center forward position left by Benzema, demonstrates a strategic approach. I don't think Real Madrid is in transition from older to younger players, because their squad is quite young now. It's just Modric and Kroos who are at the end of their career, while most of their midfielders are young enough. Prioritizing young and talented strikers aligns with a long-term vision that ensures sustained success and continuity within the squad. This approach not only addresses immediate needs but also lays the foundation for the team's future.
There is a report that's been making the rounds in the media for the past two days that if Real Madrid should fail to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint Germaine, they're gonna switch their interest to Nigeria international Victor Osimhen as they believe that Osimhen will be a more suitable player for the playing pattern of the club than Kylian Mbappe but I don't agree with that report to an extent and that's because I know that Kylian Mbappe is one player that can perfectly and effortlessly fit in any teams attacking line.

Carlo Ancelotti has been winning games and trophies with the team even without a recognized striker so I think he'll definitely use any of striker between Mbappe and Osimhen should any of them be signed to the club.
