The mail field in question is considered for notifications and the creation of a personal account. This does not affect the correct transaction in any way. But despite this, we decided to consider removing this field and started developing this topic.
As for blocking funds by AML. Yes, this is prescribed by the rules, but in practice we do not block medium-risk funds. The funds are being processed or are subject to refund. If we find out by AML that the funds are stolen, they will be blocked until the circumstances are clarified. We use specialized tools for AML.
