Inter Milan must be taken into account in the competition for trophies, their increasing performance makes them very difficult to stop. The defeat in last season's final has shaped Inter Milan into a team that is better prepared to face all the challenges this season. Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid must be more alert when they meet Inter Milan because Simone Inzaghi's troops could make them go home sooner than expected. These four teams always appear consistently in the domestic league, if they make it to the semifinals it will create an ideal final this season.
Inter Milan has managed to keep their quality till this season. This is in contrast to the current Seria A champions Napoli. They are in good shape to win more than one trophy this season because they are five points above Juventus in the league and have qualified for the next round of the UCL. The next game with Atletico Madrid will be a litmus test for them in the Champions League. If they can beat Diego Simone's men in the round of sixteen they might be on the way to winning the trophy they slightly lost last season. Everybody knows that Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are the favourites to win the UCL, but some underdogs can still surprise us in this competition.
