I agree with you that what Madrid is waiting for is Girona to experience defeat, but it seems that in Girona's match against Almeria, even though the result is a draw, it will definitely be happiness for Madrid because of course Madrid also wants to win the trophy in Laliga this season.

Yes, Girona must ensure that they consistently win in matches because if they don't consistently win then Girona will fail to become champions. but I personally believe that Girona will win the next match against Sevilla, so we'll see.

In one instance, I will say that I am not happy about the draw match with Almeria, whereas in the other instance, I will applaud the efforts that Girona have put into the games to have gotten here today. I will also commend their doggedness and altruism over the confidence that they've put into this season to have got here. To be very honest, one must appreciate it all.

But now it's a different season and of course Barcelona's hopes are higher. What is really needed for a team is good results from every match. and club management certainly only wants to know if their club wins and can win the title. And this is where the problem lies because to be honest, Barcelona's performance this season is not as good and effective as before. not to mention the consequences of the club's crushing defeat to its eternal rival, Real Madrid, in yesterday's El Clasico to win the Spanish Super Cup. and rumors regarding the push for Xavi's dismissal are increasing.

Like I've said earlier, Xavi has put in his best too in this season but what I can say is that his best is not enough to have taken them to the league. It is not always rosy and every other team have gone to re-enegize themselves to get stronger and better this season like Girona have shown examples on this league. For Barcelona to get better, Xavi just needs to keep trying and identify his loopholes in terms of squad then fill it up.
