With the current performance of Manchester City now if they mange to enter the premier League first position I'm confident that they will surely win the league because ever since Kevin de Bruyne return from the injury Manchester City had been very consistent in performance.
It is not only because of the return of KDB, City usually get stronger when the season is approaching the run-in period and that's what is happening now and it is scary for the rest of the league. With Haaland, Stones and Akanji all set to return soon, City would soon be able to boast of a complete squad and they'll be ready to defend their crown.
Having said that, let us not forget about Liverpool who are going about their business without any noise or fuss, too many people didn't consider Liverpool at the start of the season, but now they are taking them serious and IMO if City don't win the league, Liverpool will.
I think it will be quite difficult for Manchester City despite the return of De Bryne for them.Liverpool is in the most outstanding position and they have a really solid team performance which is different compared to the other teams who rely more on individual skills like Manchester City and Tottenham for example.That is not enough to win you titles,of course Manchester City has won the title several times coming from behind but not because of their merit rather because of other teams losing points against teams in the bottom of the standings,I doubt Liverpool will be doing the same as they are not Arsenal.
So far Manchester City played in many games without their effective and important player Kevin De Bruyne and they mostly had bad performances while just after he got back to the field they got much better results and had much better performance. However, Manchester City lost many points so far, and getting back to the first place in the league won't be easy even for them.
So true, de bruyne has magic to make city played very well even in only a half of game. We have seen that how big his contribution even when he was playing from the bench. Manchester city is just getting better and better. There are so many people are aware about this too.
Manchester city is always cooking it. I can expect city to be as good as last season once haaland and stones will be there. We are only waiting the recovery of haaland which is not time consuming like de bruyne.
Pep has been also telling us if haaland is likely to comback again next month. The hype for manchester city will be much bigger if haaland will rejoin in the club again. The chance to win the UCL in a row becomes even bigger too.
Liverpool needs to lost some points to make city to go up again. It's cuased by manchester city will never able to surpass liverpool if klopp's squad keeps get good result in EPL. The club needs to miss some matches.
