Not giving a fuck to an extent is a trait I feel everybody should have. There are things people should give a fuck about, but it's certainly not something like what you accuse him of.
The aim is to reduce spammers are much as possible, you don't possibly think that's an easy task.

As he already said, the system is not perfect, but it's better. If he and other staff who have the power to whitelist have whitelisted a few spammers without knowing, best believe they have also rejected a few genuine people without knowing.
