Yesterday West Ham lost in the FA cup against a team playing in a much lower division than the Premier League and that for me was a really big surprise result.A team from the Premier League who happen to have won not long ago the Europa Conference League to lose to a team playing in a lower division. That shows that West Ham is truly in a volatile performance in the Premier League.
I thought West Ham would recover in the second half, but Benrahma's red card turned the whole order upside down. Unfortunately, after this moment, nothing was achieved other than waiting helplessly against Bristol. They don't care much about the FA Cup, but it must still be sad for them to lose to a team in the lower league.
A red card is one of the things that weakens the team's performance in the match because the player who received it is a wing player, and no matter how the performance changes, no one will be able to move with the ball like before. I also believe that Westham didn't care about the FA Cup this season, which is why they don't play like they did in the Premier League. Westham has been a strong opponent to many teams in the Premier League this season. If they really cared about the match, they wouldn't mind receiving a red card and would continue to play until the game.
However, I also believe that Muhammad Kudus is crucial to the West Ham team because, in my opinion, if he is in the game, the team will always try to score a goal. Kudus is a powerful wing player who can move with the ball, and we can see that, in my one and only observation, the absence of a player can sometimes affect the team's performance. I say this because I have seen many excellent teams struggle to perform when a key player is missing. Let's face it: kudus is crucial to the West Ham team
